The long (lonely) walk through the forest to the sudden mind blowing view the moment you break from the forest and see the castle itself bought me to tears. Probably the closest I’ll ever come to heaven but there is not a site on earth that can compare. I love castles. I love Germany.

They sure do Jennifer. I am not sure how many castles are in Germany but I think I read somewhere that it is over 20,000. Might take you some time to visit all of them haha

I have only made it to Neuschwanstein Castle so far but I can’t wait to visit some of the other ones now that I permanently live in Germany. Do you know how many castles are in Germany? I bet it must be a lot. :D
