In reply to R Black. Yes, Eurail is just a pass that allows you to use certain trains in Europe. Just keep in mind that a Eurail pass might be more expensive than booking transportation individually.

Italy seems to have most appearance on the list, Florence, Rome, Venice. I would love to visit Venice, a city on water. Sounds so cool.
