Have a picnic in the gardens before looking at the art.

Also lunch at Merien Park is lovely. Outdoors and the food is quite good.

The daily farmers market and if you time it right the autumn festival is charming.

Finally, floating seen the rhein river is a tradition and feels great on hot days. When you get out, have a beer at one of the buvettes.
